Sheathed Thermocouples<\/strong><\/span> without protective tubes are used in almost all industries where temperature measurements up to 1100\u00b0C are necessary. The main part of sheathed thermocouples are internal thermocouple wires and a metal jacket, usually made of Inconel 600 or high-quality heat-resistant steel. Two inner wires are welded together at the end to form the measuring junction with an insulated ceramic coating (aluminum oxide).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
