CHAMBER FURNACES
High temperature Chamber Furnaces are based on fibrous materials and latest technology nano-ceramics are applied in: Military and Laboratory industry, Production of specialized fittings with use of injection molding processes and Automotive.
Kepka High Temperature Chamber Furnaces work temperatures:
– Sintering temperatures up to 1900°C
– Variations of temperature configurations:
- 1450°C
- 1600 °C
- 1720°C
- 1800°C
- 1900°C
Heating Elements MoSi2 are Gh-Density Material consisting of molybdenum disilicide and self-forming silicon dioxide glaze. It can be used up to Furnace Temperature of 1800°C. These elements are characterized by: long service life, consistent performance, flexible design, low energy consumption and wide variety of grades. Heating element MoSi2 are a specially designed and provide the best properties of both ceramic and metallic materials. It withstands corrosion and oxidation, like ceramic materials and has a low thermal expansion. Heating elements MoSi2 have great thermal and electrical conductivity. Thermal shock does not have any effect on the element and as a heating element, it can withstand many years of service because of its strength. Kepka High Temperature Chamber Furnaces are also equipped with Silicon Carbide (SiC) Electric Heating Elements for element temperatures up to 1625°C (2927°F), available in a wide variety of standard sizes and geometries, or in customized designs to meet the specific needs of various processes and equipment. Silicon Carbide (SiC) Electric Heating Elementstechnology is characterized by high power, self supporting and even, controlled heating.
The construction of the furnace is designed according to “Drop Bottom” type – which provides increased safety of the processes. Longer life service of the elements, smaller thermal shocks and possibility of automatization of loading – and offloading – processes in multi-file mode.
